| "What an incredible sleep!" |

by Tanya (from Calgary) June 2007 - After a week of hostelling and camping with a friend this summer, we decided to stay somwhere luxurious on our last night on holiday before flying home. We picked the Hyatt Regency at the Embarcadero Center because it's pretty central plus we figured it'd be nicer than an airport hotel. We got a standard room with two beds and each seemed to have at least a dozen pillows and a really fluffy duvet. The room was fairly small but very clean and had a stocked mini-bar. The room was pricey compared to what we were used to but it was about what we expected for a nice hotel in a big city. Everything else was pretty standard, there was a TV with on-demand entertainment, a small but clean bathroom and a coffeemaker. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful and the conceirge was also very nice. He was very quick when helping us book a shuttle to the airport and also recommended a great local restaurant for dinner. Overall, it was a great end to a holiday and we really did have an incredible sleep. The only thing we did notice was that parking at the hotel was something like $50 a day so maybe a good idea to find somewhere else to park if you have a car.
