June 2007 - This place is the pits. For the astronomical money we are paying per day....
No coffee in room. There's a POT, but you have to buy the coffee at their store!
Then when we got the coffee, no filters! They brought a commercial Bunn size for a household pot.
I dialed 'O" several times and got "Maintenence". After the 3rd time, I said to the gentleman who answered, "I keep dialing 0 and getting you." He replied "Sorry, BRO!" I then said it would be Ma'am, not "bro" and he said "Oh, sorry...you have a man's voice!" I do NOT, not that it was any of his business! And you don't answer the phone with one of your guests, "BRO", male OR female!
No continental breakfast for these prices??? A roll and coffee would have been SOMETHING. No complimentary coffee in the lobby? You've got to be kidding.
Last night, our room key would not unlock the nearest outside gate to our room. I called and called, and at around 9 pm , got a recording saying either they were "busy" or it was "after hours." At NINE pm?????
Room was plenty big for a queen bed, yet they had a double. Too small for hubby and me.
No smoking property, but no ashtrays anywhere to be found outside on the balcony. The butts went over into the flowerbed.
I stayed here because it is across the street from my mother's place and she doesn't have room for us. NEVER AGAIN. I'll drive from a better, cheaper property that at least gives me coffee for under $200/night!!!
