| "Great Old-Fashioned Service" |

December 2007 - The first time I drove by the shop there must have been 25 people standing on the sidewalk in the cold December evening a few weeks before Christmas. What were they doing? Watching hand-made candy canes being made! 4 or 5 staff members made a short assembly line carefully rolling out the candy, cutting it, rolling it a little more and then making the hook on the end. The owner would explain the process to the other 25 people that were standing inside the store. After he was done with his spiel, they would give small samples of the fresh, warm candy to the crowd! I was working in the area and there would be a crowd of people every evening. I went in the store during the day and the people working were so friendly and helpful. Truly a unique experience. The owner told me they have big crowds again for their Valentine's Day Hearts in February. I will definitely go back.
