December 2006 - We spent the day skiing elsewhere in Tahoe but wanted to drive up to Squaw Valley to see the resort and catch up with some other friends from the UK so the Blue Coyote there was a good place to do so. As there was a large group of us (including four kids) and it was busy, we had to sit in two different booths but the casual atmosphere of the place was good for drinks and for the kids and the food (almost all of us had Mexican dishes) was tasty. The friends we were meeting had already eaten so afterwards a few of us joined them in the bar while the others of our group and the kids explored the rest of the village and sat around a campfire outside.
It's a large, busy chain-like restaurant and offers what you'd expect from such a place - the food, atmosphere and service were nothing extraordinary but completely adequate and for a casual, reasonably-priced meal out with all ages and numbers, it fully fit the bill.
