February 2007 - There isn't much Thai food that I don't like but the Thai Nakorn in Truckee is fabulous! The food is great and although not cheap, not overly pricey either and the atmosphere is cozy and chic. It's a small restaurant highly popular with the locals so the tables fill up quite quickly no matter the day of the week. And the best part - at Thai Nakorn you really are getting authentic Thai cuisine, including sticky rice that can be ordered a la carte and which I have not seen on a menu outside of Thailand. A brilliant restaurant and well-deserved of its popularity!
