March 2007 - This is the kind of place which you cannot enter without immediately feeling ravenous for any of the morsels on display. Specialty coffees? Tick. Freshly-baked croissants? Tick. Wine? Tick. Salads to inspire? Tick. Hot savory items? Tick. Too good to eat desserts? Tick. Tick, tick, tick! While there is ample seating on hand, the counter items are literally calling out for a picnic - whether on a blanket in a park in good weather or on the floor in front of the fireplace in a cabin in winter. We loved everything we tried - Piper's should not be missed!
