| "The Fun Place To Stay" |

December 2007 - My family and I decided to go to Disneyland for Christmas and we opted to stay in downtown Disneyland. The Hotel Disneyland was perfect in every way. The check-in staff were wonderful and the happy holiday atmosphere was felt everywhere.
We had been assured our one room would be big enough for all four adults and one three year old. We had two comfy Queen size beds and a cozy daybed for our littlest one. We still had lots of floor space, including a refrigerator and coffee maker. The TV had a child friendly Disney channel with a bedtime reading every night. That was a great touch. The evening fireworks we saw out of our large windows every night was awesome. We knew there were families on all sides of our room but we never heard any noise from them, thanks to great sound proofing.
We were quite sad to have to leave for home after a week. We are definitely planning to return to this hotel, next time we are in Anaheim

December 2007 - My family stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for a week over Christmas and we were more than pleased with its location to the park and the great service. Upon arrival on Christmas day, the friendly staff presented our three year old daughter with balloons and a signed picture of Mickey and Minnie. This extra touch as well as the beautiful festive decorations really helped us get lost in the Disney magic right from the start. Our family included myself, my wife, daughter and grandparents. The hotel assured us that a standard room would accommodate us comfortably but we were worried that we would be stepping on each other's toes. The standard room did not disappoint and we were all quite comfortable for the entire stay. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. And the daybed for our daughter worked perfectly. Everyone seemed to find their own space. Having a fridge in the room was also very helpful.
The only problem was that we found quite a bit of mold in and around the bathtub. After bringing this to their attention, they asked us to vacate the room for the afternoon so they could fix the problem. When we returned from an afternoon in Disneyland, the mold was removed and the entire tub area was re-caulked. They also gave us a bit of a discount on our final bill to compensate us for the inconvenience. That was a nice touch.
All in all, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. With their amenities, fun family pool, theme dining rooms, close location to the park entrance, proximity to shopping and ability to watch the evening fireworks from our room, anyone would catch the Disney spirit!
