October 2007 - While the room was basically decent, the motel grounds were a total wreck. When I pulled into the parking area at 3:00 p.m. I observed one space littered with broken window glass; this glass was still there when I checked out the next day.
Additionally, all of the outside garbage cans were overflowing with trash, and the walkway in front of my room had Crayons, candy wrappers, pizza boxes, and other assorted trash laying around. Again, this garbage was present when I checked in.
Also, there appeared to be hotel residents, i.e. folks paying weekly rates, including one young man who kept wandering through the parking lot and walkways during the evening repeatedly, as if he was looking for an "opportunity" for a little bonus.
The manager needs to be much more astute about keeping a clean and welcoming business, instead of letting it resemble a "Project" in the ghetto.
