The waitress was very nice and gave us pleasant conversation. She even offered a very nice recommendation on the menu that offered us a better deal from my original choice. When the restaurant became packed with only two waitresses in the area, someone else asked us if we needed anything and helped the other waitress out. Good teamwork.
Environment -
The restaurant is nice because it has an outdoor play area for the kids. The weather was good, so it was nice sitting on the patio and being able to watch the kids while we waited for our dinner. For those looking for very little wait time for dinner, we arrived at 4:30 or 4:40PM before it got really crowded on the patio.
Food -
What I like about Joe's Crab Shack is that the prices seem to b e a little bit better than Red Lobster. The 12 piece Fried Shrimp is $11.99 (compared to Red Lobster's $12.99). The waitress suggested we try the 18 piece Shrimp dinner for $1 more (which I could share with my son). That's a pretty good deal. The BBQ Dungeness Crab meal is a bit more than it used to be, but I believe it's more crab (and a pretty good meal if you're not super hungry and you wish to share).
Conclusion -
Eat at Joe's. Good eats, good price. Recommended!
