May 2008 - Staff -
The staff was highlight of this outing. The waitress and the manager were very nice.
Environment -
There was no wait during dinner time on a weekday (5:30PM), which was nice. The restaurant was clean. The negative here is that the restaurant is very loud and it was cold. The noise issue isn't a first at this restaurant. The last time we went there, it was also cold and we had to ask management to adjust the temperature. Otherwise, no complaints.
Food -
We've gone to Pappadeaux's for years for the food, but lately there has been a drop off. The mussels were flavorful, but they were sandy and we had to complain to the management, who compensated the meal. They were out of Key Lime Pie, and they didn't have crawfish (even though it was crawfish season). It just doesn't seem to be the same as it has been in years past and I believe we keep going back to experience the good food that we've experienced in the past.
Conclusion -
Considering the price has increased and the quality of the food has decreased, I would not give a high recommendation until they improve.
