December 2006 - Once you get to the Mariposa Lodge it will remind you of a box of chocolates. What is on the outside is definitely not what is inside. The interior is one of the most charming and romantic settings we have enjoyed. We stayed in the Monarch Room which has beautiful fireplace, hand finished walls and a very sexy jetted tub. Breakfast by Bob and Cindy sets a new standard and their 30 years of local knowledge makes sure you find the best of Steamboat.
