April 2008 - Out-of-towner, single diner. Tues night. Beautiful view of the 10th & 18th holes within the hillside landscape. Flavorful Food. Nice ambience. Attentive staff. Ordered:crabcakes then salmon w/ artichokes, capers, and garlic in white wine lemon sauce. Came with a small salad and a 'palatte cleanser' in the form of a small raspberry sorbet in between the salad and main entree. Zagat Rated 2008 AMERICA'S TOP 1000 ITALIAN RESTAURANTS. Desserts - I had the Banana's Foster prepared and flambeyed...tableside! Really, need I say more? That is a rarity now. Would never expect that sort of delight in a small area such as Danbury. With all that food, glass of wine, and martini: bill=$62+tip.
