| "Poorest place I've ever stayed" |

March 2008 - My wife and I booked this facility for the month of March. We had walked by it many times before when staying in the area and thought it looked great. We were very disapointed when we arrived. Our one bedroom apartment had a bed in the living area and only one broken down dirty chair. To watch television you had to sit on the bed in the bedroom. There was only on table knife in the kitchen and cooking utensils were so poor as to be not usable and the stove was crooked and missing knobs. We bought our own glasses so we could enjoy a drink. The good news is the pool and beds were OK and the location is great. The worse news is that when we killed the third cockroach and told them we were leaving we were penalized three days rent for leaving early. I'm in my 60's and I never saw a live cockroach before. I have stayed in several facilities in Lauderdale By the Sea and all were very good or excellent. This place wins the worst place I've ever stayed award, hands down.
