January 2008 - The Hampton Inn Plantation is a very nice hotel, with all the amenities. It is across the street from Broward Mall - great for shopping - and not far from Sawgrass Mills.
We stayed for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast - included - was excellent (and very popular).
We used the fitness room and the laundry room - both were excellent.
We felt it was rather expensive, but all-in-all it was a really good place to stay.
The only drawback is that it's awkward to get to restaurants in the area, but that is not a fault of the hotel, rather of city planning!
