June 2008 - Staff -
The staff was pretty attentive. The hostess was asked to look for me because my wife and I came in separately and she made sure to let me know where the rest of my family was. The waitress was nice.
Environment -
The restaurant was pretty small, but that was by design based on the fact that it's in the Tampa airport. There was a large gathering watching Tiger Woods win the US Open, so that (and that fact that there were several delays) made the restaurant packed. After the US Open ended, the restaurant cleared. There wasn't much of a wait despite the small size.
Food -
The food was good. My kids shared Cheese Sticks (if they're extremely hungry, don't share, but if they're only partially hungry or don't eat much, sharing will suffice). and I ordered the California Club. I wasn't famished, so this was a good portion for me. My wife was somewhat disappointed, but only because there was a sauce that she wanted removed, but forgot to mention it. It might have been nice if the waitress offered a solution to fix this, but since it was our fault, what could we do?
Conclusion -
It's a good place to get something to eat at the airport, especially if the wait time is going to be long. Not bad for airport food.
