| "Cold food, horrible service" |

April 2007 - Three of us went 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. I only saw 1 waitress in the whole dining room. She was running out of steam, did not bring us our food. The cook brought the food, 40 minutes after we had ordered. The food was COLD- and the two cali melts were not as described. There was supposed to be turkey, avocado, cheese, etc. There was only 1 skinny, minuscule piece of turkey, small amounts of avocado, no cheese (a Cali melt with no cheese?). The french fries were COLD- not good for fries. The root beer was watery. The chili was okay- just COLD. We had brought an out- of-town guest to impress him with the local restaurants. Sorry we chose the brewpub, it was very embarrassing for us, not to mention the fact we had to go somewhere else to eat rigt after, because the substance just was not there. We have eaten there several times in last 3 years, that was the LAST time. I suppose this place is popular for beer drinkers--- just don't expect to get a waitress, and don't try the food!!!!!

February 2007 - The historic restored building is fantastic, the food is quite good (try the Pig Pie pizza), the beer is very good though not great, but the service has been atrocious all three times I've been there over a six month period. The slovenly, lazy servers ignore you if they can, it takes forever to get a drink or your food, and there's never been any sign of adult supervision present when I've been in there. It's a shame, because therwise this would be a killer place.
