December 2007 - This restaurant is located along the Kuhio Hwy. It is one of the four or five restaurants that are located in a row that look quite similar. The restaurant is very inviting from the outside. It is lit with torches and has an outdoor patio at its front. Inside it also has a pleasant atmosphere and attractive décor.
This restaurant was very busy when we arrived but the hostess let us wait on the patio in the bar area until a table was ready for us. Once seated our waiter was very friendly and accommodating.
We began our meal with an appetizer of mushroom-stuffed-escargot, very good! For dinner, I ordered the crab-stuffed prawns, which was super tasty! This dish came with a pilaf of rice and yummy spinach. Each dish was beautifully presented and my family members all enjoyed their different dishes, as did I.
The average cost per entrée was about $25. The restaurants prices reflect the quality of food served and the type of restaurant that Wahoo’s is.
