December 2007 - I noticed a whole bunch of bad reviews on different sites by a single individual all in the month of July. Very odd to say the least [and very suspicious]. The completely bizarre thing about this is that the owners of Kaimuki Camera are simply the nicest people ever and they would never hang up on anyone and I've personally seen how they handle customers, whether they are professional photographers or the casual professional wannabe like myself. They will take the time to explain things to you so you don't make rash decisions that you will regret later. They are far more interested in your long term patronage than in making a quick buck. They are really the only old-school style photography shop left in Honolulu.

| "Terrible Customer Service" |

July 2007 - Don't try calling them on the phone for help or inquiries. They will literally hang up on you. After calling about a particular item, I ended up going in and they still didn't help me. They definitely give more attention to people buying higher priced items. Save yourself the hassle of driving into Kaimuki and finding parking and go somewhere else or order online. Ritz Camera is good. Or rent.
