September 2007 - This was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. We stayed in a king suite on the top floor facing West, overlooking the ocean. The sunset views were amazing. Turtle Bay Resort is the only resort on Turtle Bay. The grounds are perfectly manicured and the
PGA rated golf course is phenomenal. There are a few bars and restaurants on site, so you never have to leave the grounds. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was a bit steep, at over 250USD per night, but you can occasionally get deals. We walked along the beaches, which surround the resort for hours. We saw huge ocean turtles swimming near the shore; some even beached themselves to warm up in the sun. The room was extravagant. The huge king sized bed was draped in a thick silk covered duvet and the floors were Berber carpet and marble. The room has a wall of glass patio doors which face the ocean and can be covered by shudder style drapes. The bathroom was spacious and had a dressing room attached. We had coffee on the private cement deck in the mornings. There are a few gift shops and a massage studio on site. Scattered around the property are various pools and hot tubs, and a waterslide for children. The property is on a point, so all you hear is the ocean. There are wedding facilities on site featuring a
beautiful gazebo overlooking a cliff and the ocean. There is also an internet café inside the Resort. We would love to stay here again. I would recommend staying at least 3 nights.
