| "Better than fast food--for a price" |

October 2007 - Boston Market offers a ready-made choice of quality turkey, chicken and beef for those who prefer something other than fast food, but want it served just as quickly. The Naperville, IL location is about 2 miles south of Interstate 88 on busy state highway 59.
Boston Market meals are prepared fresh and the restaurant emphasizes quality.
On a weekend lunchtime visit, we ordered two of the 'carver' sandwich halves along with one side and a drink for a combination price. The total for both meals came to nearly $14.
Both the sirloin dip and turkey were toasted and meat was fairly plentiful. However, if one carries a hearty appetite to the table, it's possible that craving won't be satisfied. The sandwiches were 4-5" in length--not quite what could be expected for the price. The taste of both sandwiches was acceptable, but not extraordinary. We ordered sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese for our side items. The size of each serving was good as was the quality. Boston Market offers a variety of side items, from potatoes to vegetables to cinnamon apples.
We were served quickly and with a smile, but we kept coming back to the thought it is a little overpriced. That's not the fault of this particular restaurant, which no doubt has its prices set by the national office.
Meals generally run $6-8 plus drink and we suspect Boston Market would be a better choice for those who want a quality dinner meal but want it prepared for them. As a lunch choice, there are better options available unless a dinner type meal is what one is looking for.
