March 2007 - Starting in May 2007, visitors to Fort Knox will be able to ride an elevator up to the top of the new Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory. The observatory will provide expansive views of the Penobscot Bay area and on a clear day visitors should be able to see 100 miles!
