"Home away from Home"

by Dawn (from Cranston, RI)
July 2007 - 2007 was the third time we've stayed at Cozy Cove Cabins (twice in the "Eagle's Nest") in the past 7 years. The property is well kept and "cozy"; all the comforts of home without being home. The owners, Steve and Tami, are wonderful (friendly and very helpful). I recommend, and my family agrees, that this is the place to stay in Jackman. When you visit, tell Steve and Tami (and Murphy too) I said "hi" and can't wait to visit again...soon!

"A must see!"

September 2006 - Cozy Cove Cabins is definitely a “MUST SEE” for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The view of the lake and mountain backdrop is simply breathtaking (and can clearly be seen from our cabin). My husband and I live just South of Pittsburgh, PA; we travel to Jackman, ME annually with our friends from NH (next month we will be renting 3 of the cabins, we’re bringing more people). The cabins are like petite houses, our annual cabin sleeps 6, they are all full-efficiency and there is plenty of room for all of us to prepare and eat HUGE home-cooked breakfasts and dinners at the table each day (pots, pans, silverware, plates, etc. is all included). Each cabin is clean, designed as a home, not a hotel, and are very affordable, VERY affordable.

We’ve only visited in September and March; during our winter trips we like to ride snow mobiles or walk on the lake, watch dog sled racing, or just enjoy the beauty of snow-capped mountains above the lake (can’t get enough of that view from our picture-window!). We don’t drive our truck on the ice or ice fish, but others do (Cozy Cove Cabins even have ice huts). In autumn, when the leaves are changing to what seems like an endless pallet of color, my daughter and I feed the birds and fish from the end of the floating dock while watching the occasional boat float by. Autumn is great because the days are warm and the nights are cool; perfect for making a bond fire by the lake or sitting on the large porch of our cabin; it’s a great way to wind down and catch up on after-dinner on conversation while listening to the loons over the lake. Cozy Cove Cabins is and always will be the perfect place for our vacation.

Sincerely,
Jan and Jon
Pittsburgh, PA
