| "it works, sort of" |

July 2006 - we came to this area to take care of an ill relative. we stayed here because of price and because they allowed pets. the kitchen is okay... had two-burner stove, microwave, coffeemaker. there was exactly enough dishes for a meal for two people. the downside was the bedspread had several cigarette burns (no-smoking room), there were cobwebs in the corners, the top of the refrig was dirty, and a screen was off the outside window. housekeeping came in a day early so we were relieved that our cat had not escaped. for about 24hrs the water from the tap came out very brown, mgmt said it was because the sprinkler alarms were being tested (the tap water comes throught the sprinkler system first?). the night we did laundry, it was filled and one machine was broken but it is open 24hrs so we eventually got in. otherwise, the staff was generally congenial, high speed internet was available, we had what was needed, no snafus on billing during checkout, and it worked for us but wouldn't want to stay here more than 7-10 days. of course, we could have paid more for a better place.
