June 2008 - This motel was a pleasant surprise. I had booked it mainly because the price was low, and I didn't expect much more than a basic room. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find an indoor pool AND an outdoor pool plus a hot tub. The room was a little bigger than I expected, and the wireless internet was also nice. The facility was fairly full when I was there, but it still seemed quiet. The housekeepers did a fine job too. I was traveling with a 13'-long fiberglas pole vaulting pole, and it was easy to maneuver it through the stairwell and halls and into my room (not always possible in some of the motels I've visited over the years.) The free breakfast was pretty good, although some fruit and some sugar-free syrup for the waffles would be nice for us diabetics (dieters would probably appreciate that also).
The only negative was that the exercise equipment in the fitness room was all inoperative for some reason - bicycle seat was set very low and couldn't be raised; treadmill needed some key to turn on, and this was not in evidence; and the stair-stepper never seemed to turn on despite my pushing every button in sight and checking to see that it was plugged in.
I would definitely recommend this facility to other travelers.
