August 2006 - My wife and I have stayed here on numerous occassions and always considered it a good value. Last January, things were not so good, but we put it down to construction on site.
This visit was a travesty. The staff at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. There were parties and people running in the halls at night. The room literally stank so badly we had to spray it down each time we entered.
I filled out Hampton's follow-up customer survey, but haven't heard anything back, nor do I expect to. They advertise amenities accurately, but since the staff is poorly trained and the place poorly run, forget it. Amenities are no substitute for meeting minimal standards of service.
In short: NOT worth the price. If you wanta lousy stay, you can get that at the Red Roof next door for a fraction of what Hampton charges.
