March 2008 - I have visited the Leaf and Bean in Bozeman many times and with good reason. There are two of them, the original one on Main Street, which is still my favourite and one on 19th, which is great too. My most recent visit was to grab lunch and coffee on the go and I opted for one of their delicious salad sandwiches from the deli counter. They always have a great selection of teas and juices, but I went for a standard latte that never lets me down. The place has free wireless Internet access and I have often spent an hour or two on one of the sofas or rocking chairs surfing, reading and in idle conversation. They also have live music sometimes and open mike sessions that can be an entertaining alternative to the conversation. In addition, they sell gifts relating to tea and coffee as well as other cool stuff.

July 2007 - The Leaf and Bean Coffee House in downtown Bozeman is exactly what a coffee shop should be; a warm artsy space with character and great coffee. The Leaf & Bean has been around for years, serving cups of joe to college students, downtown business workers and tourists alike. Free wireless, comfy sofas, window seats, etc make it a great place to catch up with a friend or hunker down with the laptop for some work. And there are books, toys and cushions in one area for parents with tots in hand. The homemade scones and pastries are excellent and the location in historic downtown Bozeman can't be beat.
