| "Intimate ambiance" |
|
|
by Sally (from Fernie, BC) December 2007 - When invited out to dinner I rarely refuse, especially when a local is making the restaurant selection. My brother-in-law and his wife thought we would appreciate the international flavour of this restaurant and were looking for an excuse to try it out. We were welcomed by the staff who were attentive but not overbearing throughout the evening. My attention was immediately drawn to the Indian Korma dish on the menu and we shared shrimp cocktail and Thai fish cakes for starters. The food was good but not exceptional but we enjoyed the effect of the wine and the ambiance of the place, which had low light and felt small and intimate. This was conducive to long, sometimes a little heated but always pleasant conversations, so much so that we were the last to leave the restaurant as the staff cleared the tables around us. I would return here, if invited, but feel that Bozeman has such a selection of restaurants that I may be trying one of the other options next time.
