April 2008 - I recently went to Montana to visit family and we went out to dinner in the relatively recently re-located Gourmet Gas Station. The restaurant used to be in an old gas stop but moved to a much bigger premises and fortunately it is still as good as it was in the old place. Six of us went for dinner, two children and four adults and we fitted into one of the booths with no problem. The staff welcomed us immediately we arrived and they continued to be friendly and helpful throughout the meal. The Saturday special of Prime Rib was hard to resist and it was not a disappointment and the jumbo shrimp was a big hit with my nephew who cannot get enough of it. The atmosphere was lively but not overpowering and the décor is very casual despite the formal nature of some of the dishes. I look forward to a return visit to the Gourmet Gas Station when I am next in Bozeman.

December 2007 - We've been going to the Gourmet Gas Station for years and even as it has grown in popularity, reputation and, most recently, size (new venue), it remains a great place to eat out in Bozeman. I miss its old location in a former service station but am glad to see that the restaurant is continuing to be successful. I almost always opt for something Mexican (to go with the place's great Margaritas) and the food has always been good. Even better, though, are the portions. We almost always take half of it away with us to enjoy the next day! As long as we keep going to Bozeman, we'll probably keep heading to the Gourmet Gas Station.
