November 2008 - We were starving and wanted to eat somewhere casual on our first night in Vegas and we happened upon Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Located right on the Strip, this restaurant has a fun beach-style atmosphere that verges on corny. We didn't feel like waiting for a table, so opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was VERY friendly and efficient. The menu was filled with yummy-sounding entrees and appetizers. I chose to have the taco salad, which was quite good, but WAY too big. There was some kind of show going on with some guys on stilts and some dancers - it was somewhat entertaining. If you're looking for a fast meal, affordable prices and plenty of delicious and refreshing beverages, then this is the right place for you.

May 2008 - Loud music, loud shirts, good service, decent food. That about sums it up.
Perhaps this casual dining restaurant would mean more to me if I cared about Jimmy Buffet, but there's no denying that the burger and nachos I ordered were top-notch. The best part about ordering the burger was finding out you can have it prepared rare, medium-rare, or well, which was a pleasant surprise.
If you're a fan of Mr. Buffett by all means make Margaritaville a dinner destination.

April 2008 - This was our second visit to Margaritaville and it did not disappoint. Both times, we waited about 20 minutes for a table on the upstairs patio and it's definitely worth the wait. The patio overlooks the strip and if you're seated in the right spot, you can catch the Bellagio fountain show. The restaurant is very casual and the odd Jimmy Buffet song makes it in the song rotation. A live band started just as we were finishing up around 9 pm.
Our server was very friendly and helpful. Our party of six shared the nachos, probably the biggest nacho platter we've ever seen; fresh guacamole, spiced ground beef, fresh salsa, cheese and chips piled up high!
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and fries and it was amazing! My boyfriend had the fajitas, which he said were very good. One couple we were with ordered the pulled pork as well but had onion rings instead, which were a bit overdone. Our other friends had chicken sandwiches, which they thought were good but not outstanding. All of us agreed that the fries were excellent.
Ironically, the margaritas were not great and I had to have more mix added to drown out the strong rum flavor. Otherwise, Margaritaville is a fun and affordable restaurant to hit while in Vegas.

January 2008 - Set inside a fun tropical setting, Margaritaville is a great place to visit on the strip. I stopped in there to try a margarita. It was so good! The live music the restaurant had going was great as well. I think Margartaville is worth going in for the experience, but I wouldn't order too many drinks there. The margaritas are around $8 each, which can add up.
