April 2007 - When we opened the sofa bed at this hotel we found urine and rust stained sheets! Ugh! I was supposed to put my kids in this bed?!?!? So I went down to the front desk. I would have called but the phone didn't work. When I got there and asked for fresh sheets the girl was downright snotty about it. No, they didn't have any clean sheets but we could have a blanket.
How does a hotel not have extra clean sheets? And aren't clean sheets the very least thing you should be able to expect from a hotel?
Well, I went and got the other sheets to show them. Ms. Snottypants responded in an exasperated tone that I should "just leave them in the room". The man at the desk said "Oh My God!" and asked to have them, as though he was going to deal with the housekeeping staff about it. We fully, expected a knock on our door with fresh sheets soon but it never came, my kids had to sleep on this slightly fuzzy blanket in a room that was so hot already. Horrible horrible service. I'll never stay there again.
