| "Lovely Historic Plaza" |

September 2007 - Our recent trip to the United States included a day stop in Taos New Mexico. This tourist town has a historical plaza that was bursting with bright and extremely colourful shops. All the shops we were in carried authentic made in New Mexico artifacts and souvenirs. It’s a bright and friendly culture that showed in the staff in all the shops. We were pleased to find a quaint Starbucks coffee and sandwich shop in amongst the places. The decor was so festive and we were able to buy delicious homemade and hearty sandwiches and very tasty cookies. The coffee was freshly made and delicious. We bought a 1000 piece puzzle in the coffee shop that depicts the Taos plaza during the early 1900’s. A souvenir we will cherish of a beautiful day in Taos. The plaza also has an early vintage tram car to take visitors around the town. This is a very pleasant place to spend some time in another culture.
