October 2006 - My stay at the Miss Gussie Bug in the Garden room was splendid. The room was immaculate and full of roses in bedspreads, curtains and pictures gracing the walls. I also appreciated the skylights, which revealed both small birds flying overhead and the moon, gracefully crossing the evening sky.
Next door to The Garden Room is The Alternative Baker, a pastry shop that sell organic pastries , soups and sandwiches. The gentleman who owned the shop remembered my name after my first visit, and kindly advised me as to the specials of the day.
Finally, much fun is to be had exploring historic Kingstown. It is full of quaint shops, restaurants and antiques. Miss Gussie Bug is only one block from the water, and the many beatiful ship that are docked in the nearby ports. All in all, a great place to visit and Miss Gussie Bug is the perfect place to stay.
