| Loreley Restaurant and Biergarten Reviews |

| "Excellent traditional German fare!!" |
by Lindsay (from Saskatoon) January 2008 - Loreley Restaurant and Biergarten in New York City provides a truly German experience. We were there mid-week and the atmosphere was cozy and quiet, but I would bet the Biergarten really rocks on the weekends. The extensive beer menu is a treat for even most German beer connoisseurs. I was there with a large group and the restaurant provided us with a special three-course menu including choices of salad or soup, a main course and dessert. And they really have it all—spatzle, schnitzel, potato pancakes, bratwurst with sauerkraut, and gulasch. For dessert they offer traditional black forest cake or apfelstrudel, and both were excellent. The food portions were generous and the food prices were reasonable. The drink prices are a bit high, which can only be expected with German imports, but they were definitely worth it. Loreley undoubtedly offers the best German fare I have had outside of Europe.
