May 2007 - I am certain that people will come to Asheville NC not only for the Biltmore House but for the culinary delight found at this charming European style eatery, but for the ambiance and charmit has. Your dining experience here will take at least 2 1/2 hours not just enjoy the food, but the staff and owner and the serene experience of such dining. Lucky you to live here year around to enjoy this. Owner Ms Bj is a diamond and makes you feel part of her family.

May 2007 - When in Asheville this is a can't miss place to eat. Food, Service, Staff all excellent. Tell the owner, BJ, that Bob from Syracuse sent you :-) She is a wonderful lady and great hostess.

| "Average - Not a Favorite" |

September 2006 - While the eggplant parmesan was certainly tasty, the mascarpone cheese / ladyfingers in Sorrento's tiramisu, the antipasto of wax and kidney beans and salad dressing were not a favorite of ours.
The decor was pretty, but the restaurant was a little too dark & lacked sufficient space to offer tables that would allow for a little more quiet & private dining.
The wine (Sangiovese) they touted, was home-made from grapes in the "family vineyard?"
Again, we found it to be decent, but only average in our humble opinions.
