December 2007 - Seaside, Oregon is a great place to visit any time of the year. We were there on December 23 in the middle of some of the worst storms they have ever had. The rain was blown sideways in the wind off the ocean and there was no way to get out of the car without getting soaked. We needed to have some breakfast before heading out of town and we told that the best place in town was the Pig N' Pancake. It was easy to find on the one of the main streets in downtown. It is a very big restaurant. They sell maps and souvenirs as well. We were seated quickly even though they were very busy. Service was excellent. The menu offered a very wide range of items, but they are most known for their breakfast menu. I had a strawberry waffle and my husband had a strawberry blintz - a crepe with sour cream and lemon wrapped inside and smothered in strawberries. The price was very reasonable and the portions large. It was a good meal for breakfast. This is a very kid friendly place and a place we would go to again.
