October 2007 - Our room was small, but decorated tastefully in true northwest style, with some dark paneling, faux log chairs, and matching bedspread on the comfortable bed. Extra pillows are provided. The hotel restaurant has a beautiful view overlooking the Columbia River. The breakfast vouchers are only provided for those 18 years and older, but provide a large meal. The children's breakfast menu is limited, but the portions are large and the price reasonable. The facility is quiet, but parking is not convenient. The hotel is located close to the highway, the Hood River Railroad and downtown. Overall a very pleasant experience.
