| "Not Too Fancy But Good" |

December 2007 - Deb's Family Restaurant is located across the street from the college in Eugene, Oregon on Franklin Street. It was the first place we saw when we pulled into town off the I-5. It is situated between two motels and is easy to spot. This is not a big place nor is it fancy. If you want clean, this might not be your first choice, but we wanted something hot and filling to get us by until we stopped again on our road trip. The place was half full with four other tables occupied and the waitress was with us right away. I ordered a hamburger and fries. My husband ordered potato soup and tuna melt. The soup was so good I ordered some too. We didn't spend much time there - in and out in just over half an hour, but the food was good and hit the spot and we enjoyed talking to the waitress. If I was going to spend any time in Eugene, I probably wouldn't go there again, but for a quick pit-stop, it was fine.
