August 2007 - On our trip recently to the Black Hills of South Dakota, we decided to check in to Custer KOA camp ground. We rented a cabin, one of many available, and it was a great choice. Beautiful huge pine trees surround the cabins to make it a peaceful setting. There is a large heated pool and a playground with lots of recreation to keep the children happy and busy. There is a large store on site and free internet and computer access. During summer months there is chuck wagon breakfasts available. This is an ideal spot to do your day trips from. It is only minutes away to Mount Rushmore and Chief Crazy Horse Monument. There are two of the world’s longest caves for exploring nearby and only a couple of hours away to Devils Tower.
This was one of our favorite camp grounds we visited this year and we will definitely look forward to returning here in the future.
