| "very disappointing service" |

March 2007 - This was a very disappointing hotel stay. I could have stayed at a much less expensive hotel for the service I received.
I called the The front desk as we drove into town to get directions to the hotel. The attendant was very confused and didn't know how to direct me. We finally found the hotel. I was given a room pass which didn't work. I returned to the front desk and was given another pass that didn't work. I approached the desk a third time and was finally given another room. The room was not in very good shape (which surprised me since I had stayed in another of your hotels in Tyler, TX and it was beautiful!) The bathroom tile, molding and walls looked as though someone had taken a crow bar to it. I wanted to go swimming (the hotel advertises a pool) and the pool had been drained.
When I headed to the lounge at 9:15am for the continental breakfast, all that remained was cereal and milk. Hotel personnel were already putting away dishes and coffee. My friend had gone to breakfast earlier and said he saw the hotel personnel walking away with plates of food.
