September 2007 - The owner took a pesonal interest in my complete satisfaction. In fact, I watched her visit each and every guest to make sure they were enjoying their meal.
I was served a large portion of the house specialty, the Vermicelli Noodle bowl. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the ratio of noodles to vegetables was just the way I like it. The vegetables in the bowl were char grilled and had a smokey taste that can only be described as authentic Viet Nam.
The menu also included the standard fare of soups, spring rolls and spicey appetizers. There was something for everyone and every caliber of heat-sensitive taste buds. Chicken, beef and pork are menu staples and are served in a veriety of delightful ways. They even have a portion of the menu which caters to the lunch crowd with a wide variety of specialty sandwhiches.
They are just getting started in this location, but Thanh Nhi is sure to become a favorite in this part of Austin with their attention to detail and reasonable prices.
