September 2007 - You will be drawn to the Taco Cabana by the BIG pink sign, but you will come back for the great food and even better prices.
I like the taco combo which includes the taco (soft shell or hard shell), a large drink and a generous portion of homemade chips and queso. The taco comes with either black beans, chicken or beef. But it doesn't stop there. You can add to your taco with a wide selection of tomatillo sauce, onions, jalapenos, selantro and pico.
The service is fast. From the time you order to the time you are feasting is usually less than 5 minutes.
The menu also includes sizzling fajitas, varieties of enchilladas and even a whole roasted chicken you can choose from the many turning right before your eyes on a spit.
I don't know how they can consistently serve a filling, delicious meal for less than $4.00, but I'm not complaining.
So, go for the pink and keep your dining budget out of the red.
