| "Nice facilities very close to beach" |

October 2007 - We stayed at Gulf Shores in late October, 2007. The weather was perfect with sunny days and nice breezes. Gulf Shores has about 60 units, all individually owned but reneted by on-site management.
We stayed in unit 303 after seeing it advertised on another classified site (craigs) by the owner. The unit was advertised as having a "Tuscan" decor. It had ceramic tile through the whole condo and granite coutnertops. The condo was as beautiful as the weather and we had a wonderful time. The room included free wireless internet and the owner had a computer in the room for use as well!
Common facilities could have been better. The elevators were older and slow and, although the common area boasted a computer with internet access, the common area was small. The pool and hot tub were very well kept and nice but the tennis court was a bit run down. There is a BBQ area but it is not gas and we had to purchase charcoal.
The staff was very nice and answered any questions we had as well as working to make our vacation a wonderful experience.
