| "Dog sledding under the stars" |

January 2006 - When spending the Christmas holidays in Vermont a couple of years ago, we decided to bring in the new year via a midnight, moon lit dog sled ride with Jim Blair at Eden Dog Sledding. The tour itself was brilliant - cozily bundled in a bamboo-type sled under a heap of blankets we alternated between gliding silently through the trees under a starry night to careening around corners and bubbling brooks when Jim (the musher) thought a thrill was necessary. Equally enjoyable, however, was meeting the dogs beforehand, helping to harness them and just generally witnessing their complete enthusiasm to pull. After this experience, I'd recommend a dog sled ride in any winter mountain environment but would highly recommend Eden Dog Sledding if in Vermont. Great fun and a great night ride!
