| "As fun and funky as the ice cream itself" |

March 2006 - Whether you're visiting Vermont as a leaf-peeper in October, a die-hard skier in January or even a covered-bridge buff in June, chances are you'll pass through Stowe on Highway 100. And, if you have even an inkling for sweet treats and light-hearted fun, a stop at Ben & Jerry's original ice cream factory is a must. The sickly-sweet smell and decor (think pink cows and cheesy souvenirs) and might make you yearn for all other things New England (think vibrant fall leaves, snowy mountain slopes and picturesque covered bridges) but the informative tour is as fun and funky as the ice cream itself and who can't love the tasty treat at the end!
