February 2006 - While on a skiing holiday to Stowe, three of us stopped here for dinner after a day of shopping in Burlington. It was difficult to choose as there were many options on Church Street and places seemed pretty busy too, but we were able to get a table at Smokejacks, which had been recommended to us. It is a stylish, pretty chic place but the wait staff were friendly and the place wasn't as pretentious as one might expect from the decor and menu. The cheeseboard (all locally made) seemed to be the thing to have after the meal and when in Rome... It was good and fun to try a few different cheeses from Vermont! I would definitely recommend this experience.
