July 2007 - We stayed in two rooms at the Residence Inn Fair Lakes in Fairfax, VA for our trip to visit Washington. We were only about 15-20 minutes from a metro rail station. It was a great experience. Everything about the hotel was great.
The senior rate price of $76 per suite was unbelievable for such great accommodations. Our suite had a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. We also had a refrigerator, microwave, stove, cookwear, china, silverware, toaster, coffee maker etc. Each morning we had a wonderful hot breakfast including eggs, meats. potatoes, sausage gravy, waffles, fruits, coffee, tea, 2 juices, milk, oatmeal plus cereals and more. The wait staff and front desk staff were always courteous and helpful. There was a nice courtyard, pool, and sports court and exercise facility.
We even left some items in our room. I called then the next day and the items had been turned in so they shipped them to us and we received them two days later at no charge to us.
