"Horrible experience with Quick Shuttle"
by L (from Tempe, AZ)
August 2008 - I had a horrible experience with Quick Shuttle. I took it two days ago from Cambell River Store at 10 a.m. and it was at the Bellingham airport at 1 and my flight was at 1:10 p.m. We waited at the border for about an hour, but as soon as we pulled they had three officers checking passengers. Then Quick Shuttle decided to rearrange passengers between two buses, which of course took more time because we were waiting on two loads of people to go through customs. The bus that was behind us took off to Sea-Tac before us and we were stuck waiting on a passenger that came with that bus. If they didn’t rearrange passengers, I could I have made it to my flight. I wasn’t the only one, it was 7 of us who missed it. I had to purchase a $400 ticket one way to get home that night. I left at 8 a.m. and I was home at 11 p.m. According to their web site there is a tiny disclaimer saying “Weather and other factors may affect operating conditions, therefore times cannot be guaranteed” and they don’t list border delays anywhere, which they kep on blaming when I called to complain. According to their times, I was suppose to be in Bellingham at 11:05, but I was there at 1. Please be aware of it if you’re flying out, because you can’t rely on their times. I would not recommend them!

Management Response:

Unfortunately we have no control and no prior indication from the border services when the service will be slow. We recomend that any passengers with time sensitive travel leave extra early as the border delays are a big problem for all travellers

"Great transporation option for the Pacific Northwest"
by Storm (from Calgary)
July 2007 - We found great airline tickets from Vancouver to London but were in the States at the time so we had the issue of getting up to Vancouver. Luckily we had friends in Bellingham, WA so we were able to leave our vehicle with them and hop on the Quick Shuttle. The shuttle runs between Seattle's airport to Vancouver's (with other stops at the cruise ship terminals, downtown, etc) so we had easy transportation right to the door of the airport and back again when we returned. The fare was affordable, the border was relatively painless and the service was exactly what we needed.
