August 2007 - On a recent trip to Denver we decided to stop at one of our favorite camping spots in Sheridan Wyoming. We have been coming to this KOA to camp in their cabins for many years. It’s a great area to stop after a long day on the road. It’s easy to find even though it’s off the highway. It’s a quiet and very peaceful area. Of course like most KOA’s, it is quite family friendly and the pool is inviting. There is a large children’s playground that will keep them happy. The washrooms are clean and bright and the shower area is very welcome. There are laundry facilities and a little store that carries pretty well all your needs for a good and restful stay. This camp spot is open year round and has 12 cabins available. They do supply a fan for warm summer nights and an electric heater for the cooler times. We can not wait to be able to visit this campground again.
